Cold stamping
The cold stamping, born fifteen years ago, has carved out its own space in the universe of metallic effects decoration especially for the speed and simplicity of printing, finding application in the labeling and paper industry.
The procedure of the cold stamping consists in carrying out a preliminary graphism with flexo or offset glues, subsequently due to the effect of some lamps to transfer the metallic part on the material.
The cold printing, which doesn’t require particular pressure, temperature and shutter speed, is very fast.
With the subsequent advent of overprinted foils, it is possible, after applying the foil, to obtain infinite shades and color tones.
The foil for cold printing is available for flexo applications or offset in large formats.
